Meta makes big push in AI race, adds chatbot to all its apps

Meta AI on Thursday, April 18, announced it is rolling out its own artificial intelligence (AI) assistant powered by its newest Large Language Model, Llama3 to Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and WhatsApp globally.
Meta is also launching a website, meta.ai site for users to access the chatbot and Meta Imagine, which generates images from text in real time.
These updates now allow users to simplify many everyday tasks from a quick entry into their phones.
In the US, Meta AI is available on Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and coming to Meta Quest.
