‘New God of War: Ragnarok’ trailer teases more upcoming content and gameplay

Gamespot yesterday (September 13) released the official story trailer for the upcoming God of War: Ragnarok video game for the PlayStation 4 and 5 gaming consoles on its YouTube page.

The action-adventure game is a sequel to God of War (released in 2018) that featured a now matured main character who, in addition to facing dangers, had to deal with being a parent.

God of War: Ragnarok has already been considered one of the most anticipated upcoming game releases and strongest contenders for game of the year.

The sequel story features the continuation of the titular god of war, Kratos and his son Atreus’ journey through Norse territories. The trailer teases an encounter with Norse god of war Tyr (pronounced ‘tear’), a possible encounter with Odin and fans of the series will be aware of his upcoming conflict with Thor, the god of thunder, due to the deaths of his brother and sons.

The game, which is developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), is scheduled for release on November 9, 2020.
