Chair of the Economic Programme Oversight Committee (EPOC) and CEO of JMMB Group, Keith Duncan says he has not been appointed a Government Senator despite media reports.
“Following recent media reports announcing my appointment to the Senate, I wish to advise that I have not been appointed nor offered to serve in the capacity as a senator by the Government of Jamaica,” Duncan said in a statement on Friday (May 12).
While noting that he is committed to the country’s advancement and is very honoured to have served in the roles he did, the reports currently circulating are false.
“As a Jamaican committed to our country’s advancement, I am privileged to have served in various capacities in public life under both political administrations. I am very much committed to continue to serve in any way that benefits our nation. Both parties are aware of my desire to continue to serve my country in an independent capacity.”
