Optimum Jamaica on Tuesday marked its official launch and 2nd Anniversary with a special ceremony at the New Kingston Business Centre, home to the company’s flagship operations in Jamaica.

In just two years, Optimum Jamaica has grown its workforce from under 400 to more than 900 employees, underscoring its commitment to creating jobs, strengthening national development, and building a true centre of excellence in the heart of Kingston.

Reflecting on the journey, Bill Bondi, Senior Director of Business Process Management at Altice USA, shared: “When we look back, we see more than upgraded systems and branded walls. We see confidence. We see stability. We see the foundation we built together. Looking back reminds us that while change is never easy, it is possible. With the right investment, the right partnerships, and the right people, transformation can happen, and it can thrive.”

That transformation has included full integration into Altice USA’s systems and standards, major investments in safety and infrastructure, rebranding to proudly carry the Optimum Jamaica name, and deepening ties with government and community partners.

Looking ahead, Leon Davis, Senior Director, Site General Manager, emphasised the company’s ambitious vision: “Today, Optimum Jamaica is no longer just a support site. We are evolving into something bigger. With over 19 lines of business, from Customer Service, Retention and Technical Support to IT, HR, Communications, and our new Sales Enablement Team, we are becoming a corporate giant right here in Kingston. Looking forward, we see possibilities, new lines of business, deeper community engagement, stronger global integration, and greater opportunities for Jamaicans.”

Optimum Jamaica has not only expanded its business operations but also strengthened its impact in the wider community. From sponsoring the National Under-21 Netball Team, to donating to SOS Villages and mentoring students through partnerships with HEART Trust/NSTA and the University of the West Indies, the company continues to prove that corporate social responsibility is at the core of its identity.

As the company celebrates this milestone, Optimum Jamaica is reaffirming its commitment to growth, opportunity, and national impact, driving forward with the same vision that has brought it this far: to be more than a company, but a family, a community, and an engine of opportunity.
