Jamaican dancehall artistes kicked off the new year by dropping fresh tracks that are quickly gaining popularity and featured among the top-10 trending.

On New Year’s Day, artistes Skippa, Alkaline, Intence, Gold Gad, and Nigy Boy all released new music for their fans.

In his track Year of Gear, dancehall artiste Intence expressed gratitude, thanking God for keeping him to see a new year. The artiste also reflected on the events of 2023, noting that many did not live to see a new year.
