Jamaica’s 61st Independence celebration kick-started on Thursday, July 27, with a pre-independence reception at King’s House hosted by the Governor-General Sir Patrick Allen.
Among the attendees at the event were: Prime Minister Andrew Holness and his wife Juliet Holness, the United States Ambassador to Jamaica Ambassador N. Nickolas Perry, Dominican Republic Ambassador to Jamaica Angie Martinez, social media influencers and other specially invited guests.
