Police continue to investigate the shooting death of Corporal Kamal Mayne, who was killed on Saturday (May 17).

According to preliminary reports, Mayne had just arrived at his Charlemont Drive home in Old Harbour, St Catherine, around 5:00 am when he was attacked while exiting his vehicle.

The corporal, who was attached to the Darling Street Police Station in the West Kingston division, was shot multiple times, including in the head.

His service firearm was reportedly missing.
