Police probing double murder in Clarendon

The Clarendon police are probing a double murder that occurred Tuesday evening in Spring Plain district, Milk River, in the parish.

Dead are 28-year-old Janiel Callaghan, also called ‘Squaddie’, and 23-year-old Patrick Thompson, otherwise known as ‘Rick’.

Callaghan was a sound system operator of Bullard’s Content, York Town in the parish. Thompson, meanwhile, was a farmer of Rhymes Berry and York Town.

Both men were reportedly shot and killed by unknown assailants.

Investigations are ongoing.
