Police seize Taurus 9mm pistol and ammunition on Michael Manley Boulevard

A Taurus 9mm pistol with three 9mm cartridges was found during a stop and search operation along Michael Manley Boulevard in Kingston on Tuesday, October 08.

Reports from the Elletson Road Police are that about 11:30 am, police acting on information,
stopped a white Toyota Axio and searched the vehicle.

During the search, the firearm and ammunition was was found in the centre console.

The driver was taken into custody; however his identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
