Port Antonio High school registered the biggest win of the schoolboy football season thrashing Iona High 20-0 in their ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup Zone M match at Carder Park, Portland on Tuesday.

Port Antonio surpassed Kingston College’s 18-0 whipping of Cumberland High in the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup recently.

There were 14 different goalscorers in the match as both Kerone George and Dwayne Rodgers scored three times while Javade Lecky and Donjae Wright each scored twice.

Keandre Wilson, Garth White, Shaquone Hardware, Adel Minott, Jeno Thompson, Demark Anderson, Rojay Wiggins, Johnalpha Lewis, Odane Johnson and Nicholas Williams each scored a goal.

Port Antonio leads Zone M with maximum 15 points from five games scoring 33 times while conceding twice.

Titchfield High are second in the zone with 10 points from four games just ahead of St Mary’s High with nine from five matches.

A total of 89 goals have been scored in the Zone M only second to Zone H which has 114 goals headed by one of the favourites Glenmuir High netting 39 times.

A total of 748 goals have been scored in the daCosta Cup from 182 games at an average of 4.11 per game.
