The Los Angeles Rams pulled off a thrilling overtime victory in Chicago, edging out the Bears 20-17 on Sunday, and joining the New England Patriots in the Conference Championships.

Quarterback Caleb Williams, who led the Bears to record-setting comebacks this season, delivered a touchdown in the final seconds to force overtime. But the rookie’s dream finish turned sour when he threw an interception, setting up Harrison Mevis to kick the game-winning field goal in the freezing Illinois weather.

Meanwhile, in Massachusetts, the Patriots battled snow and a tough Houston Texans defence to claim a 28-16 win, putting them just one step away from the Super Bowl.

Quarterbacks Matthew Stafford of the Rams and Drake Maye of the Patriots are both in the running for this season’s MVP and could face off later on.

Next Sunday, the Rams travel to Seattle for the NFC Championship, while the Patriots head to Denver for the AFC showdown. The winners will clash at Super Bowl 60 on February 8th at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
