The Reggae Boyz are out for revenge against their American counterparts when they meet at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, on March 21, in the CONCACAF Nation League semifinals.

The US Men’s National Team (USMNT) is seeking a record third straight Nation League title but they must get past the Reggae Boyz first in what might prove to be a daunting task. The Reggae Boyz are no stranger to playing semifinals against the USA but it is the first time they have ever gotten this far in this competition.

Coverage of the US-Jamaica duel from AT&T Field in Dallas begins at 6:00 pm Eastern Time (ET) on FS1 and Univision, with kickoff set for 8:00 pm ET.

Last few matchups tightly contested

This is the first time the two teams are going to tussle up against each other in the Nation League competition. However, the two rivals’ last few matchups have been tightly contested affairs.

The last time Jamaica beat the USMNT team in any competition was that 2-1 victory in the semifinals of the Gold Cup 2015.  Both teams have a lot at stake and plenty of football to play this year.

USA will be participating in the Olympics in Paris, the Copa America, Nation League, and World Cup Qualifiers while Jamaica will be participating in Nation League, Copa America, and World Cup Qualifiers. USA has lost their opening game for the 2024 calendar year in a 1-0 against Slovenia in an international friendly at San Antonio.

Jamaica, on the other hand, came away 1-0 winners over Trinidad and Tobago at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain last Friday, March 1. Schoolboy sensation, Kaheim Dixon scored on his debut for the Reggae Boyz as they opened their 2024 campaign in the first of its two friendly internationals.

Dixon, who was one of five players making their debut for the team, netted in the 58th minute and became the first Jamaican to score on debut since Justin McMaster in 2022 vs Cameroon.
