

Dominican Journalist and former the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) broadcaster Ken Richards has died.
According to recent reports, Richards passed away on Sunday (May 21) at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital after ailing with an illness for some time.
The 67-year-old veteran journalist has been lauded as a mentor to many people and an outstanding journalist who was committed to reporting the news and current affairs with truth and integrity.
Richards has worked with several regional and international news organisations such as the Dominica Broadcasting Station, Radio Antilles, Voice of the Island Radio, Observer in Antigua, WINN FM Radio St. Kitts, Marpin Telcoms & Broadcasting, Dominica News Online (DNO) and the BBC Caribbean Service in London.
