Jamaica served as the perfect relaxation destination for British-Albanian pop star Dua Lipa, who on Thursday (March 23) gushed about a recently concluded visit to the island.

The Grammy-winning ‘Levitating‘ songstress was awestruck by Jamaica’s natural beauty, reggae-rich atmosphere and authentic cuisine as she glowed about her “couple of weeks” stay at the GoldenEye luxury resort in Oracabesa, St Mary.

An enchanted Dua Lipa, reflected on the revitalising trip in her weekly Service95 newsletter on March 20.

“After a very hectic start to the year, I was keen to take some time out and was lucky enough to spend a couple of weeks at Golden Eye Hotel in Jamaica this month. Oh my gosh, what an experience it was,” she said.

“Taking walks along its icing-sugar-sand beaches with lush mountains in the distance, reggae playing wherever I went, and tasting those delicious Caribbean flavours – not to mention the rum cocktails – I truly feel revitalised and ready to take on what the rest of the year has to offer,” the musician added.

The ‘Cool’ hitmaker also shared five memorable moments from the trip, including visits to the Bob Marley Museum, Kingston Dub Club, Jakes Treasure Beach Hotel, Boston Jerk Centre and Scotchies Jerk Centre in Montego Bay.

Her love affair with Jamaica was evident from Dua Lipa’s accompanying social media posts, which highlighted the singer’s experiences with the sights and sounds of the island.

From river rafting to sun-kissed moments on the beach, the singer’s frolic through Jamaica seemed truly unforgettable.
