Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t have to wait long to check a big item off his wish list. Just weeks after saying he hoped to meet former President Donald Trump, the superstar finally pulled up to the White House for a black tie dinner held for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.
Ronaldo arrived Tuesday night with his partner, Georgina Rodríguez, joining a guest list that also included FIFA boss Gianni Infantino, Apple’s Tim Cook, and Elon Musk. Inside the event, Trump couldn’t resist telling the crowd he’d scored major cool dad points with Barron by bringing him face to face with one of the most famous athletes on Earth.
This was a rare U.S. appearance for Ronaldo, who’s been busy playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. Earlier this month, in a chat with Piers Morgan, he talked about wanting to meet Trump to discuss ideas for improving global stability.
