Samuel Ricketts and Katherine Wynter were crowned singles winners as the curtains came down Sunday (December 12) on the All Jamaica National Badminton Championships held at the GC Foster College in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
The England-based Ricketts dethroned Matthew Lee in straight sets in the final while Wynter regained the crown she lost in 2018 with a 21-15, 21-9 victory over Breanna Bisnott.

“The All Jamaica Championships are over and it feels great to get back my title,” Wynter posted on Instagram.
“Although I could not perform as well as I wanted I am very grateful to come away with (a) triple crown.”
She praised her doubles partners Bisnott and Lee for ‘helping me get there.’
Meanwhile, Lee and Joel Angus won the men’s doubles title over Albert Myles and Garron Palmer.
