Toast! Clothes vendor in Whitehouse, Latoya Scott-James, shared she was grateful to be considered by the Sandals South Coast team.

As the world celebrated International Women’s Day, festivities were also planned at the Sandals South Coast property in Whitehouse, Westmoreland.

The activities honoured women from Westmoreland and St Elizabeth and the Sandals team members from the resort aimed to highlight the importance of recognising and appreciating the diverse contributions of women in nearby communities such as Whitehouse, Santa Cruz and Middle Quarters. The women were treated to gifts, activities and alcoholic and non-alcoholic wines.

Kimone Bailey from the Sandals South Coast weddings team was elated to show her appreciation to Beverly Samuels a vendor in Whitehouse, Westmoreland.

The best part of the festivities was that it was a surprise to the women involved and so they were pleasantly caught off-guard by the gesture.

In response, they noted that they were moved by the thoughtfulness of the gesture.
