Sangster Intl Airport to reopen at 6pm today

MBJ Airports Limited, the operator of Sangster International Airport (SIA), says that is plans to resume commercial operations at 6:00 pm today, Thursday, July 4, 2024.

At present the the airport operator is conducting restoration activities of SIA’s systems and facilities following the passage of Hurricane Beryl before the planned reopening.

“Passengers are urged to contact their respective airlines for the latest flight information and to avoid coming to the airport until the airlines confirm the operation of their flights,” MBJ Airport advised in a release.  

MBJ Airports also outlined that airline contact information can be found on MBJ website at International Airlines – Montego Bay Jamaica Airport (mbjairport.com).

All updates on operations at the Sangster international Airport will be posted on MBJ’s website and social media accounts.
