The Canadian Women’s Club of Jamaica (CMC) hosted its Wine & Whisky Soiree at the Canadian High Commissioner’s residence on Seymour Avenue in St Andrew last night (March 14), and it was a fun-filled, well-attended evening.

Here were curated wine and whisky pairings, gourmet tasting experiences and a fabulous cigar smoking lounge.

The event brought out business leaders, diplomats, government leaders and bon vivants.

Proceeds from the Wine & Whisky event will support various community initiatives in Jamaica, including donations to basic schools, children’s homes, orphanages and hospitals.

Both president of the Canadian Women’s Club of Jamaica, Aileen Corrigan, and vice president Rose Tavares Finson said the reason why the CMC hosts events like this is not just to gather for a party but to give back, restore and expand support for communities.
