Scotia Group upgrades digital platforms for Scotia Investments clients

Scotia Group Jamaica has expanded its digital platforms, affording access Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited (SIJL) clients to view their daily online balances for all their wealth holdings.

Since August 15, 2025, SIJL clients have been able to log on to the Scotia Caribbean Banking App and Online Banking platforms to check on their accounts.

“Scotiabank made enhancements to the digital platforms which will significantly improve how clients interact with and manage their personal wealth accounts,” the financial institution outlined. “This enhancement marks a shift from the previous interface, which only provided monthly statements. By offering daily account balances, Scotia Investments is supporting clients with greater control over their investment portfolios.”

Apart from viewing balances daily, the upgraded platform has added several new features designed to streamline portfolio management and improve the overall experience.

As such, clients can now:

  • Filter holdings by asset and class, allowing for more precise tracking and analysis of investment allocations.
  • View detailed transaction information, including transaction type, price and amount, offering deeper insights into account activity.
  • Access transaction history for up to 13 months, enabling users to review past performance and make informed decisions.

For Scotia Investments, the improvements to the digital platform underscore its commitment to delivering innovative, client-centred solutions that meet the evolving needs of today’s investors.

The rollout of these new features is part of at Scotia Investments’ digital transformation initiative, aimed at modernising platforms and aligning with global best practices in financial technology. Scotia Group has been investing in infrastructure and user experience improvements to ensure that clients across the Caribbean region benefit from seamless, secure and intuitive digital services.

The enhancements are only available to SIJL clients who currently bank with Scotia. Clients who wish to sign up for online banking are required to open a Scotiabank account via www.jm.scotiabank.com. Once your Scotiabank account is set up, you will be able to access our digital services.

Scotia Investments Jamaica continues to prioritise innovation, accessibility and transparency in its service offerings. Clients are encouraged to explore the new features by logging into their accounts via the Scotia Caribbean Banking App or Online Banking portal.
