Scotiabank has begun the islandwide rollout of a modernised fleet of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), reinforcing the Bank’s ongoing commitment to improved accessibility, convenience and innovation for clients.

The deployment follows an announcement made at Scotiabank’s Annual General Meeting, where President and Chief Executive Officer Audrey Tugwell Henry disclosed plans for 128 new ATMs to be introduced across the island. The machines are expected to be fully deployed by end of year and will replace some old machines, while providing service at a few new locations.

The new machines feature a fresh, contemporary look and enhanced functionality, including improvements to the way cash and cheque deposits are made. Notably, Scotiabank has also activated the audio assistance feature, allowing visually-impaired clients to independently and confidently access ATM services, which is an important step in advancing inclusive banking.
