Dancehall artiste Shawn Storm has expanded his creative pursuits by launching a YouTube show titled Talk Dancehall, an interview-based series that offers a platform for dancehall artistes to discuss their careers and share insights into their personal lives.
After being released from a 13-year prison stint on July 31, along with Vybz Kartel and his co-accused, the Loyalty singer has been releasing music, appearing on podcasts, and readjusting to the world.
“Mi still nuh up to the time,” he said on one of his episodes, while emphasizing that he is doing what he does best in the meantime; music and delving into YouTube with Talk Dancehall, giving fans an intimate look at the journeys, challenges, and successes of their favourite performers.
Hosted by Theomoy ‘Pinky’ Rodney the show has already featured some prominent figures in the dancehall world. Among the notable guests are artiste Vybz Kartel, as well as Lisa Hyper, Cashan, BiggsDon, and D’Angel. These artistes have candidly opened up about their musical journeys, giving fans a deeper understanding of their artistic processes and personal experiences.
