With just five days to go before the release of ALPHA, Dancehall DJ Shenseea appears to be at a crossroads, undecided on where to keep her launch party for her debut album.

In an Instagram post made Sunday (March 6) night, the singjay uploaded a photo asking her Shenyengz where her album release party should be held.

The attached caption, which provided more clarity, indicated the star’s challenge did not lie with choosing a venue, but more so a country.

“Suggestions??? #Alpha Which country got the most Shenyengz 🤔 .” Shenseea wrote.

Presumably torn between the two countries where she is most active, her homeland Jamaica and the United States, it appears that the country with the larger fanbase could influence her decision.

Scores of fans from different parts of the world showed out in her comment section.

@jodyy.ann_ said, “Jamiaca has the most Shenyengz! That’s not even a question!”

Of course, many were from Jamaica and the US, while some were from Canada, Gambia, St Kitts, Trinidad, London, Kenya, Antigua, Haiti, Guyana, United Kingdom and Tanzania.

While many of her fellow natives were all for her keeping her launch party on the island, some Jamaicans were against it, highlighting the immense backlash she has received from her own people.

Others told the star that she could have more than one party, suggesting one be held in Jamaica, and the other overseas.

Canadian fashion model Winnie Harlow and Jamaican social media personality-turned-entrepreneur, Starr Dawkins also shared their thoughts on what the artiste should do, with the former commenting: “I am going to selfishly say Los Angeles 😂🧡🧡,” and the latter suggesting Miami.

Shenseea’s ALPHA is set to be released this Friday (March 11). Shenseea has so far released a few singles from the album which includes her 2019 hit Blessed featuring Tyga, Lick featuring Megan Thee Stallion, R U That featuring 21 Savage and Deserve It which was dropped last Thursday (March 3).
