On the heels of his unforgettable pool performance in Trinidad, dancehall artiste Skeng has made headlines once again, this time using the fruits of his labour to make ‘life changes’.
Taking to his Instagram account yesterday (June 5), the 21-year-old artiste uploaded two clips which show the dancehall hitmaker surprising his mother with a brand new car.
Making rounds on social media, the video has the attached caption of a pregnant woman emoji, possibly symbolising the appreciation for his mother who carried him for nine months.
The videos show that the dancehall youngblood bought his mother, rumoured to be a school teacher, what appears to be a Nissan Skyline.
In the first video, which appears to have been taken on the school compound, Skeng, on exiting the car, is hugged by his mother, who, like him, is all smiles.
In another video, which displays the exterior of the car, his mother is seen in the driver’s seat of her new car, enjoying the fruit of her son’s labour.
“A simple ting man fi ketch on man,” the videographer says, as he captures her in the driver’s seat.
Skeng, the new hot topic of dancehall, come this summer will be performing at the return of Alkaline’s New Rules Festival to Jamaica on June 2, as well as the return of what has been dubbed the greatest show on earth, Reggae Sumfest, on July 22.
