Dancehall artiste Skillibeng will be featured on American rapper Busta Rhyme’s upcoming EP, The Fuse is Lit.
The Brooklyn native took to Instagram on Monday (November 7) to make the announcement, telling fans to expect a fiery display of lyrics on Friday (November 11).
“I couldn’t wait!!! BRAND NEW @bustarhymes ‘THE FUSE IS LIT’ EP DROPPIN’ 11.11.22
THE 🐉 RETURNS!! #THEFUSEISLIT,” he captioned the post.
This new EP will serve as the follow-up to Busta’s 10th album, Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God, which was released in October 2020.
In his post, Busta Rhymes unveiled the EP’s cover art, which fittingly depicts a hand lighting a stick of dynamite with a match.

He also released the track list for the EP, which includes five songs featuring appearances by fellow New Yorkers Conway The Machine, Big Daddy Kane and Capella Grey.
Busta Rhymes will collaborate with the Crocodile Teeth artiste on Bulletproof Skin, a song that will also be produced by Rvssian and Kosa.
The other songs on the five-track set are The Fuse Is Lit/ Break This B-tch Up, Slap featuring Big Daddy Kane & Conway The Machine, Hot Sex Part 2 and Run It Up featuring Capella Grey.
The announcement comes just days after news broke that Skilli and Shenseea will be part of Wizkid’s new album, More Love Less Ego.

The Whap Whap deejay seems to be making his name in the international space, as he was also seen performing at Drake’s birthday party on October 25.
Though this collaboration might surprise many, Busta Rhymes is closely connected to Jamaica and has always expressed his love for dancehall music.
Born Trevor Taheim Smith Jr, Busta Rhymes was raised by his Jamaican parents Geraldine Green and Trevor Smith Sr.
He has, through many of his songs, embraced his Jamaican heritage, using patois or Jamaican slang in his video.
For his last album, Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God, Busta Rhymes also collaborated with incarcerated dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel to release the single The Don and The Boss.
Just this past week, on Instagram, Busta Rhymes called for the release from prison of another incarcerated Jamaican DJ, Ninjaman.
