Every great store deserves great exposure. Here, at Our Today, we highlight Jamaican entrepreneurs making a positive mark in the small business space. We believe every good business – particularly local stores with excellent customer service, trendy products and a strong social media presence – deserves to be recognised for its quality service.

DanceFyah Jamaica provides open-level dance fitness classes for adults. Promising to have fun, while getting fit while bringing the Fyah.
Classes are offered in various genres, dancehall, soca, modern dance, afrobeat and more.
DanceFyah was started in 2016 by friends Carreen Walton and friend Shaquille Laing after they saw a need for a space for dancers who didn’t have the time and energy to commit to a dance company but still wanted to dance. Over time it grew into a space for dancers and non-dancers alike.

Open classes are available at Hope Gardens on Saturdays 8:00 am to 9:00 am for $1000 and an option for private classes are available upon request.
In the near future, DanceFyah wants to expand its FyahMerch line and offer more regular classes across the island.
