Sone G Declares Transformation Through Christ with New Album “New Man” Gospel Reggae artiste Sone G has released his new 9-track EP, “New Man,” a powerful project centred on transformation, hope, faith and renewed purpose through Christ.
Released on Thursday, July 30, 2026, “New Man” marks a new chapter for the artiste, blending authentic Gospel Reggae with influences of dancehall, roots reggae, contemporary gospel and Caribbean rhythms. More than a music release, the EP is a testimony of spiritual growth and a reminder that no one has to remain defined by their past.
For Sone G, the title speaks directly to the message behind the project. “The title ‘New Man’ represents the transformation that only God can bring,” he shared. “Spiritually, it’s rooted in the biblical truth that when we surrender our lives to Christ, we are no longer defined by our past, our mistakes or our old nature. Personally, it’s a reflection of my own journey.”
Inspired by his own walk with God and by the stories of people searching for hope and purpose, the EP represents what Sone G describes as a season of maturity, clarity and renewed focus. “I’ve grown not only as an artist but as a man of faith,” he said. “Every song comes from a place of recognising God’s faithfulness through different seasons of life and wanting to encourage others that no matter where they are today, God can completely change their tomorrow.”
At its core, “New Man” carries one central message: God still transforms lives. Through songs that speak to struggle, gratitude, identity, faith and victory, Sone G wants listeners to know that their story does not end with failure, pain or the labels placed on them by others. “No matter your past, your failures or what people have labelled you, your story doesn’t end there,” he said. “Through Christ, you can become a new creation.”
Musically, the 9-track EP shows a more intentional and confident side of Sone G’s artistry. Each song carries its own identity while contributing to one complete story of transformation. Tracks such as “Stronger,” “Rescue Me” and the title track “New Man” reflect deeply personal moments in the artiste’s faith journey, while previously released singles “Big Up” and “Jamaica Is My Home” connect gratitude, praise, culture and identity to the wider message of the project.
“While the EP speaks about spiritual transformation, it also reminds people that becoming a new person in Christ doesn’t erase your identity or where you come from,” Sone G said. “God can use your culture, your experiences and your story for His glory.”
“New Man” was shaped by a team of producers, engineers and creatives, including DaJourney, Joey2Kool, Courick Clarke, New Lyfe Records, VI Records and Corden Barrett.
Engineering contributors include DaJourney, Joey2Kool, Courick Clarke, Nicholas Marzouca, Robert Marks and Craig McDonald. The EP was mastered by Xavier “Lek” Farre.
“My prayer is that when someone listens to this project, they don’t just hear reggae music; they hear encouragement, truth and the reminder that God is still able to heal, restore and transform every situation,” he said.
“New Man” is now available on all major digital streaming platforms.
