The event drew significant political and industry presence, with the Mayor of Kingston, Andrew Swaby, among the distinguished guests in attendance. From the music industry, producers Jordan and Hizzle of Chimney Records were also in the building, adding to a night that felt as much like a celebration of Jamaica’s entertainment landscape as it did a party.

In keeping with the spirit of the anniversary, the Strictly 2K team and title sponsors Boom Energy Drink took time to honour pillars of the entertainment industry with special awards on the night. Top record label Chimney Records, creator of the dances pan di riva, signal di plane and crazy hype John Hype, top radio dj ZJ Johnny Kool, and billboard producer ZJ Chrome each received recognition for their outstanding and enduring contributions to Jamaica’s entertainment industry a fitting tribute that drew loud appreciation from the crowd and reinforced Strictly 2K’s commitment to celebrating the culture it has championed for a decade.

The Mobay deejay brought raw energy and showmanship, performing fan favourites and leaving no doubt that the Strictly 2K stage remains one of the premier platforms for live performance in Jamaica. Patrons left speaking about the night in the highest terms, with the anniversary atmosphere adding an extra layer of meaning to every moment.

With the bar firmly set, the Strictly 2K promoters have promised that the best is still to come. The second staging of the anniversary trilogy is scheduled for October 3, 2026, and has been earmarked as a reggae and culture-dedicated show a deliberate salute to the roots of the music that has always been at the heart of the brand. Details on the third and final staging of the year slated for December 24, 2026, are to be announced.
