Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls were once again blown away by England Roses 81-30 on Sunday to lose the two match series after losing 80-37 on Saturday inside the London Copper Arena.

England produced another clinical display to beat a depleted Jamaica winning by 51 points after winning by 43 on Saturday and capture the Rhone Hornsby trophy.

Missing a number of starters Jamaica were not able to match the intensity of the Roses as the gap kept increasing with every quarter.

England led 21-9 after the first quarter and 38-16 at the half time break establishing a 22 point lead and by the end of the third quarter the lead was up to 31 with England leading 56-25.

The Sunshine Girls had no answer for the English Roses and the gap was further increased to 51 as England won 82-31 with Jamaica only scoring five in the last quarter.

Jamaica won the inaugural 2024 Horizon series 2-1, which enabled them to leapfrog England and go third in the world rankings.

England Netball will donate £1 from every Horizon Series ticket sold to Netball Jamaica’s chosen charity, World Central Kitchen toward Hurricane Melissa relief efforts.
