A 27-year-old taxi operator was reportedly shot and killed Friday morning outside of the Christiana Moravian Primary and Infant School in Christiana, Manchester.

The taxi operator, identified as Cuthbert Lambert, otherwise known as Jerome, was reportedly the victim of a drive-by shooting that occurred around 8:45 am.

Reports are that Lambert was in the process of dropping off students, including his daughter, when a car drove up and men opened fire, hitting him. No student was harmed during the incident.

It is further reported that Lambert was out on bail in connection to the murder of a child in 2018.

The police are now investigating the incident.
