Medical doctor Rochelle Allison Bailey, who just completed her internship at the Annotto Bay Hospital in St Mary, is the cover girl in the latest edition of Gmaro Magazine.

Entitled ‘Caribbean Breeze’, the photos spread is by renown Jamaican photographer Donavan Morrison  and  Bailey wears designs by Tonii Dyce.

Gmaro has featured the likes of many celebrities, including Daniela Botero.

At Gmaro the vision is to create a platform that seamlessly embodies the spirit of fashion and provides a visual expression of style and creativity.

On the cover photo you can see Bailey pictured with a beautifully clothed rabbit, Gloria Angela Lee.

She developed a love for rabbits in 2019 after she obtained her very first pet, a rabbit she called Exodus Benjamin Lee.

She lets it be known that rabbits are kind, loving, sensitive animals. The perfect companion.

She says that she got her rabbit in the early days of the COVID pandemic and that it gave her hope, joy, peace. It was just them alone together for an entire year.

She recently established her very own “ rabbitry”   which she calls ‘Bailey Blues Farm’ with the tagline “Everybody Deserves a Bunny”.

Bailey added: “Easter is the  perfect time to get your very own bunny to love, to cherish, to hold, to give you the same joy that I received and at Baily Blues there’s a bunny for you.”

When asked how she feels about her cover feature, she said: “This has been a beautiful sentiment, a humbling experience, years of hard work, tears, fight, inner drive and I did it.

“This feat makes me reflect on the gospel song sung by CeCe Winans, Never Lost

“Everything’s possible by the power of the Holy Ghost. A new wind is blowing right now.”

Bailey continued: “I hope every young girl looking on knows that it’s never too late to dream and dream big!

“At age 30, I obtained my driving licence, I began working as a licensed medical doctor, I received my first cover girl feature and I recently decided to enter my very first pageant in hopes of becoming the next 2023 Miss Jamaica Imperial.

“The time is now. Don’t you ever let age, fear or naysayers stop you from accomplishing all you have envisioned.”
