The Audi Q5 SUV has been one of the most popular midsize SUVs globally for over 15 years. Audi is now presenting the latest version of the bestseller, which is even more modern and dynamic.

The first generation of the midsize SUV was launched in 2008 and has dominated the premium brand segment ever since. The new Audi Q5 now continues this success story.

Damien Kerr, general manager of Audi Jamaica at ATL Automotive, remarked, “The Audi Q5 has long been a mainstay in Jamaica’s premium SUV segment, striking the right balance of style, performance and practicality for our customers. For more than 15 years, the Q5 has been one of Audi’s most successful SUV models in the midsize class worldwide, and here in Jamaica, it continues to resonate with drivers who want a premium vehicle that is versatile enough for city commutes and comfortable enough for weekend escapes. With this new edition, its proven strengths have been refined, with Audi’s new generation of highly efficient combustion engines. I am confident that the new Audi Q5, with its dynamic design and all-round capability, will carry forward its success story in Jamaica and beyond.”

The third-generation Q5 SUV is sportier than ever, with perfectly balanced proportions. Also available as a sportback, it features a sloping roofline and a coupe-like silhouette.

Distinctive Matrix LED headlights add precision and character to the front design, while the taut, high shoulder line creates a powerful profile, connecting the front and rear lights to make the vehicle appear longer.

Above the sill, a rising line runs over the wheel arches and into the rear bumper, giving the Q5 a dynamic presence even when stationary.

The central component of the interior is the “digital stage”, which is set up in front of the driver and front passenger in the form of the Audi MMI displays. The clearly aligned displays are integrated into the interior with a perfect fit. The slim, free-standing Audi MMI panoramic display has a curved design and OLED technology housing the 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit and the 14.5-inch MMI touch display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities also come as standard.

The new Audi Q5 SUV and Q5 Sportback embody the brand’s signature driving dynamics, defined by balanced, neutral handling. Comfort is further elevated through optimised suspension and steering. The entry-level 2.0L TFSI engine produces 204 hp and 340 Nm of torque with front-wheel drive, while an optional quattro all-wheel-drive variant increases output to 268 hp and 399 Nm. At the top of the range, the performance-focused SQ5 Sportback features a 3.0L V6 TSI quattro engine that delivers 367 hp and 550 Nm of torque, achieving an ideal balance of power and agility.

Audi provides a wide range of driver assistance systems in the new Q5 models, whose functions significantly improve everyday life and road safety for all road users. Surround view cameras with 360-degree display, cruise control and speed limiter, lane departure warning, panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting package pro, efficiency assistant and attention and drowsiness assistant are standard from market launch.

A wide range of additional assistance and comfort packages can be configured as options. Highlights include adaptive cruise control, which automatically maintains a set speed and distance from the vehicle ahead, as well as ventilated front seats with pneumatically adjustable lumbar support and massage function.

Premium features such as the Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system, a head-up display, and enhanced USB interfaces with higher charging capacity further elevate the driving experience.
