The Sky Gallery officially opens its new Exhibition

The weekend has officially started. Treat yourself to a night of great music, food, wine and, of course, art at Sky Gallery’s newest exhibition dubbed ‘Identity who we are after 60.’

The opening reception starts 6:00 pm today (August 19) at Sky Gallery’s headquarters, located at 9-11 Phoenix Avenue unit 15 Kingston 10.

  The exhibition will be showcased on Tuesday through to Saturdays from 1:00 pm -7:00 pm daily.

The celebration will be a tribute to the Jamaica 60th celebration of who we have been and who we are as a collective.

Work from several artists and art forms will be on display during the exhibition.

Richard Hall, Howard Moo Young, Greg Owen, Romaine McNeil, Acquille Dunkely, Simon Maiskanne Hutchinson, Ulrick Lawrence, Sherry Ann Crooks and Belinda Nethersole are some of the artists whose work will work will be available for viewing and purchase.

The Sky Gallery is known for present rotating art exhibitions showcasing talented Jamaican artists. These exhibitions aim to highlight Jamaican artists and encourage the public to invest, share, appreciate and take part in the building up of the local rich artistry.
