Reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put on another masterclass, racking up 30 points, five rebounds, and nine assists as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 121–92 in Wednesday (November 12).
Oklahoma City exploded early, building a 37-point lead that turned the final quarter into little more than a formality. With the win secure, Gilgeous-Alexander and the rest of the starters enjoyed the view from the bench at Paycom Center.
Luka Doncic led the Lakers with 19 points and seven assists, but by the time he checked out in the fourth, the game was long decided.
For now, the defending champions are sitting atop the Western Conference at 12–1.
