

The board of directors of Salada Foods Jamaica Limited has appointed of Tracy-Ann Spence as a non-executive director and a member of the firm’s audit committee, effective January 1, 2024.
With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in the financial industry, Spence brings a wealth of expertise and strategic insight to the board.
Spence currently serves as the executive vice president and chief investment officer at Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited, where she provides strategic oversight for Sagicor Investments Jamaica and Group Treasury & Asset Management. Her experience also includes a notable tenure of 20 years with the NCB Financial Group, culminating in her role as chief operating officer at NCB Capital Markets Limited.
Spence’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from York University in Toronto, an MBA in Banking and Finance (with distinction) from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute.
She has further enhanced her credentials by completing the “Director’s Strategic Guide to Corporate Governance and Leadership” offered by the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) which will be very useful as a non-executive director.

In addition to her role in the financial sector, Spence is committed to community engagement and education which has been evident through her involvement in mentoring programmes such as the Youth Upliftment Through Employment programme, adult literacy initiatives with the Adult Learning Centre and Jamaica Foundation for Lifelong Learning, and her role as an adjunct lecturer at the Mona School of Business & Management, UWI.
She currently serves on the boards of several prominent organisations, including the Jamaica Association for the Deaf (JAD), tTech Limited, Mailpac Group Limited, and the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
