Chief Executive Officer of Pro Traders Fund Limited, LLC, Chavez Allen, is on a mission to empower Jamaicans who have faced barriers due to lack of education and funding.
Through his initiative, Allen is offering training and job opportunities for Jamaicans.
Allen has been a day trader for over a decade and has been teaching day trading through his Billionaires Academy training platform, where individuals can learn the ropes of day trading and wealth building. Recognizing that his students often faced difficulties accessing capital to fund their trading accounts, Allen devised a solution. He decided to allow the best traders to manage his own funds. To facilitate this, he created a platform where traders undergo an evaluation process. Those who successfully complete the evaluation have the opportunity to be hired by his company, Pro Traders Fund, as independent contractors to manage the company’s private funds.
“Whatever profits are made, the traders get up to 90% of the profit share, and the company retains the difference,” Allen explained. He highlighted that this practice is risk-free for the traders since they manage the company’s private funds distinct from personal ownership or risk by the traders, which generate annual revenues exceeding USD $5 million.

To mitigate risk and protect capital, the company employs AI and machine learning technology to manage trades, ensuring that traders do not lose more than 5% of the funds they manage.
Allen expressed confidence in his approach and his ability to provide opportunities for those who lack formal education. “The greatest level of proving that what I’m doing actually works is my ability to teach a man how to fish and then being able to fund his overall journey as a fisherman. This provides a better opportunity for people who didn’t have a degree or couldn’t afford one. So all they have to do is perform and earn,” said Allen.
Reflecting on his own journey, Allen shared, “When I dropped out of university, I couldn’t get a job, but I am fortunate that I had started to learn day trading as a side hustle and was able to focus my energy to become very good at it. I didn’t even have electricity in my house and had to go to a café for internet access. Now, I’m providing opportunities for people to earn money based on their own merit and performance. This creates a level playing field for those who otherwise would not have had any way of learning how to trade or accessing funding to start their trading journey, start a business, go back to school, or obtain certain degrees.”
Allen proudly stated, “Each month we are able to make a 35% return on our capital, month over month.” Since September of 2023, Pro Traders Fund has trained and evaluated over 10,000 traders, 80% of whom are Jamaicans.
With offices in both Jamaica and the US, Allen provides customer support from his New Kingston office, although most of his team works remotely globally.
