Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Christopher Tufton, will deliver his ninth Sectoral Debate presentation in the House of Representatives today (June 10).

The address is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm at Gordon House.

Under the theme ‘Staying the Course‘, Tufton will report on the ministry’s progress over the past year and outline its key priorities going forward. He is also expected to provide an update on the redevelopment of Cornwall Regional Hospital and other major infrastructure projects.

This year’s presentation comes amid heightened national interest in the public health system, particularly around hospital conditions, service delivery, and staffing.

The proceedings will be streamed live on the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ social media platforms, as well as via PBC Jamaica.
