National 100m champion Tyquendo Tracey has signed on to become a brand ambassador for Lifespan Spring Water in a deal made official yesterday (January 21).
The 2018 NACAC 100m champion said signing the deal was a no-brainer as he has been a consumer of the Lifespan product for some time.
“It’s a very good feeling for me personally, because Lifespan Spring Water has always been a part of me. It’s a product that I’ve been drinking for years,” Tracey said in a statement following the signing on Friday.
“So, being able to be a part of their family now is like greeting a long-lost cousin. I’m very grateful to my team at 7venz Media for getting me into the Lifespan family. I’m very much happy to be a part of the Lifespan family.”

Lifespan CEO and co-founder Nayana Williams is happy to have the sprinter on board.
“Lifespan is really pleased to provide this level of support to Tyquendo Tracey, who we know has great things in store. A top athlete with the top spring water product in Jamaica, is certainly a match made in heaven. But more than the commercial purposes, we like to see this young man do as best as he can and we also appreciate that his management team is also very committed to him,” said Williams.
Tracey won the hearts of many when he ran a season’s best of 10.00 seconds at the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) Ministry of Health/Supreme Ventures National Senior Championships last July. However, he was unable to complete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after suffering an injury prior to the start of the 100m in Tokyo and had to withdraw.
