Updated vaccination blitz sites in Jamaica for today

As the country’s four-day vaccination blitz exercise comes to a close, the Ministry of Health and Wellness is advising the public of its updated vaccination blitz sites for Tuesday (April 13).

Persons who fall within the current vaccination priority groups may visit any of the following locations:

Priority groups now being vaccinated include persons 40 years and older who suffer from one or more comorbid conditions; persons 50 years and older; and members of the public who are employed in the transport sector; tourism workers; teachers and other employees of educational institutions; media, government workers and staff members from the Department of Correctional Services, Jamaica Fire Brigade, PICA and Jamaica Customs Agency.

Members of the public who wish to be vaccinated may register using the online portal on the Ministry’s website at www.moh.gov.jm; call the National Vaccination Hotline at 888-ONE-LOVE (888-663-5683) or register on spot at one of the blitz sites across the island.

Of the initial 50,000 inoculations target set for the four-day vaccination blitz exercise, preliminary reports are that 54, 337 persons had been vaccinated as of April 12, surpassing the initially set target.
