
Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt has been named as Red Stripe’s newest brand ambassador ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The eight-time Olympic gold medallist inked the deal with the company during Red Stripe’s ‘Guh Fi the Gold and Glory’ campaign held at the Half-Way Tree transport centre on Wednesday, May 1.
“For me to be a part of this is just wonderful and I am happy that it has happened now and I am happy it’s not just a one-year but its a continuous partnership and I am happy to be here and live up to the brand’s name and also help to push it and be a great ambassador for the brand itself and Jamaica always. I feel it’s fitting that its actually in Half-Way Tree that we have actually did this launch as over the years the blockage of this area that we have done so its a wonderful experience,” the former sprinter said.
The now-retired sprinter has made history as the only sprinter to win Olympic 100 m and 200 m titles at three consecutive Olympics in 2008, 2012, and 2016.
He is set to return to the Olympic Games this Summer in France as a Red Stripe ambassador.
The Olympic Games will kick off on Friday, July 26 until August 11. Ten lucky winners will also have the chance to the Olympic Games courtesy of Red Stripe.
