Vendor fatally shot on Bond Street

Thirty-nine-year-old Leroy O’Sullivan, a vendor of Tulip Lane, Kingston 14, was shot and killed by unknown assailants along Bond Street, on Sunday, April 28.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) reports that about 6 a.m., Leroy was standing at his cart along Bond Street when a car drove up and several men exited with handguns. The men opened gunfire at him, hitting him all over his upper body, before speeding off in the motor vehicle.

The police were alerted to the scene and O’ Sullivan transported to the hospital, where he was
pronounced dead on arrival.

No motive was given for the shooting. Investigations are ongoing.
