Create With Aunty Ama is more than just an upcoming summer camp program for children.

Amashika Lorne or “Aunty Ama”, an educator with a genuine passion for nurturing young minds, helps children to learn and spark their creativity through her innovative teaching approach.

By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, she encourages children to explore their interests, unlock their potential, and embrace their individuality through her teaching philosophy which revolves around the concept of the “hero’s journey”.

She combines educational principles with fun and interactive activities, ensuring that children not only acquire knowledge but also develop critical thinking skills, social competence, and self-confidence.

“I believe that every child has their own unique strengths and abilities. My goal is to tap into their potential, nurture their curiosity, and guide them on a journey of self-discovery,” said Lorne. “I want to create an environment where children feel empowered to learn, grow, and express themselves freely.”
