Warner Bros. Pictures on Tuesday (July 11), released the trailer for its upcoming musical, fantasy film ‘Wonka’. The film is from the writers of the ‘Paddington’ and producers from the Harry Potter film franchise.

The film is a prequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The trailer gives fans a glimpse of Timothée Chalamet playing a younger Willy Wonka and teases Hugh Grant as one of the iconic Oompa-Loompas.

According to Warner Bros. Pictures, Wonka is based on the extraordinary character at the centre of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Roald Dahl’s most iconic children’s book and one of the best-selling children’s books of all time. Wonka tells the wondrous story of how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolate maker became the beloved Willy Wonka.

Wonka star-studded cast includes Dune’s Timothée Chalamet as the titular character, Mr Bean’s Rowan Atkinson as Priest, Hugh Grant as an Oompa-Loompa Ryan Gosling and more.
