Ryan Reynolds has released the trailer for the upcoming instalment of the Deadpool movie franchise, Deadpool & Wolverine.

The film will be part of Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Based on the trailer, released on Monday, April 22, Reynolds continues his stint as the ‘merc with the mouth,’ and Hugh Jackman returns to play Wolverine, despite previously stating his appearance in Logan would be his last appearance.

In the film, Deadpool and Wolverine are tasked by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) to save the universe.

The film will premiere in theatres on July 26.
