Motorists have been complaining for some time now about the poor lighting and signage on the St Thomas leg of the Souther Coastal Highway Project (SCHIP), pointing out it is a death trap where many accidents will take place.
The Government and those responsible for this roadwork will have to heed this warning.

In this Our Today video, a motorist blames the lack of lighting and adequate signs for an accident that occurred along the St Thomas leg of the SCHIP.
Claudius Hilliman says that about 8 p.m. last night, he was driving his Honda CRV motor car in the vicinity of “Three Finger Jack”, when he collided in the Jersey barrier (median).
