Quincy Jones, the legendary music producer, composer, and arranger, was hospitalised on Saturday (June 17) after experiencing a severe allergic reaction to shellfish. The 90-year-old musician was quickly rushed to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he received prompt medical attention.
According to his representative, who spoke with reporters, Jones never lost consciousness and remained in “great spirits” throughout his hospital stay. Following a thorough examination and appropriate treatment for his allergic reaction, Jones was released from the hospital on Sunday (June 18) afternoon.
The music icon’s representative expressed relief, stating that he left the medical center in high spirits and was looking forward to returning home.
