The police are reporting that they have arrested two men following the seizure of an imitation firearm used in an attempted robbery on Molynes Road in Kingston 10, on Monday, January 29.

Reports from the Half-Way Tree police are that the men attempted to rob a man along the roadway. The man ran and reported the matter to a police team.

The team reportedly went in pursuit of the alleged robbers, when the two men fitting the description were seen in the vicinity of the Spanish Town bus stop. They were accosted and searched and the imitation weapon reportedly taken from them.

They have been taken into custody pending further investigations. Their identities are currently being withheld by the police.
