
The Integrity Commission completed the delivery of its specially developed series of anti-corruption, good governance and integrity sensitisation workshops to select representatives of one Government ministry and thirteen other public bodies during the period April 1 to June 30.
The workshops were conducted through the commission’s Corruption Prevention, Stakeholder Engagement and Anti-Corruption Strategy Division,
In addition to the public bodies, the Integrity Commission trained participants at two conferences—the 153rd Synod Conference of the Anglican Church, and the 10th annual conference of the Commonwealth Caribbean Association of Integrity Commissions and Anticorruption Bodies.

- Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica
- Department of Correctional Services
- HEART Trust NTA
- Jamaica Information Service
- Jamaica Customs
- Fair Trading Commission
- Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation
- GC Foster College
- Forestry Department
- National Irrigation Commission
The workshop modules were designed by the commission to cover a wide range of anti-corruption, integrity and good governance subject areas, and also to impart critical information about the commission’s statutory mandates, enforcement functions and Jamaica’s anti-corruption laws.
Topics covered included an overview of Jamaica’s anti-corruption institutional and legislative frameworks; the problem of corruption, inclusive of the various types of corruption; the costs of corruption; the responsibility of a country’s leaders and lawmakers to tackle corruption; and the principles of good governance, integrity, ethical conduct and accountability in public life.
