Retired American track and field athlete Allyson Felix and her husband, Kenneth Furguson, are soaking up some sun in Jamaica before the birth of their second child.
The sprinter, who is no stranger to the island of Jamaica, shared with her over one million Instagram followers that she met her husband on Jamaican soil back 22 years ago.
“22 years ago I went to Jamaica for the World Junior Championships and met my husband on that team. I also fell in love with the incredible people and the beautiful country. Even though they always cheered against me, I honestly feel so appreciated when I am here.

It was only right for us to come back for our babymoon. Jamaica will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for all of the love and hospitality,” Felix shared.
The couple announced in early February that they are expecting a baby boy soon. The couple welcomed their daughter Camryn Ferguson back in 2020.
Felix is a well-known competitor in the women’s 100, 200 and 400-meter events.
She also stands as one of the most decorated athletes in World Athletics Championships history with 20 career medals, seven from individual events and 13 from team relays.
In both Olympic and World Championships, she holds a total of 31 medals making her one of the most decorated athletes in track and field history, with 12 medals from individual events and 19 from relays.
