Head of communications for the Jamaica Table Tennis Association (JTTA), Kediesha Perry, said the athletes’ qualification is a testament to their dedication and the steady advancement of the sport locally.

“Azizi and Gianna have consistently demonstrated the discipline, resilience and competitive spirit required to perform at this level. Qualifying for the CAC Games is a significant achievement, and we are proud to see them representing Jamaica on one of the region’s biggest sporting stages,” Perry said.

Johnson and Lewis have established themselves as two of Jamaica’s premier table tennis representatives, with their performances earning them the opportunity to compete against the Caribbean’s elite.

As preparations continue, both athletes remain focused on fine-tuning their game ahead of the tournament. The CAC Games will provide a valuable platform to test themselves against world-class competition while proudly wearing Jamaica’s colours.

Perry noted that the association remains committed to supporting its athletes as they continue to elevate Jamaica’s presence in international table tennis.

“The CAC Games present an invaluable opportunity for our athletes to gain experience, measure themselves against some of the region’s finest competitors and continue raising the profile of Jamaican table tennis. We are confident they will compete with determination and make the country proud,” she said.

Their participation at Santo Domingo 2026 reflects the continued development of Jamaican table tennis and the Jamaica Table Tennis Association’s ongoing efforts to create opportunities for its athletes to compete at the highest levels.

With the CAC Games fast approaching, Johnson and Lewis are ready to embrace the challenge and proudly represent Jamaica as they pursue regional honours.
